A successful week at the ASTMH Annual Meeting in Toronto! Maria Luísa presented our lab's latest research and organized a symposium on vector-based genetic interventions to tackle vector-borne diseases. A major highlight was her being passed the gavel as the new Chair of the American Committee of Medical Entomology (ACME).
